A cushion rather than a bracket. It sits on a lap, a duvet or an arm of the sofa and props a phone or a tablet at a readable angle, with nothing hard pressing into you while you watch.
The device is held so it can be turned through a full 360 degrees, which means a portrait scroll becomes a landscape film without repositioning the whole thing. The base is wide and flat, so the screen does not slide off when the pillow is nudged.
Soft filling makes it double as a small cushion or armrest when no screen is on it, and it is light enough to move from bed to couch to a hotel room.
